My lovely Flagstaff, AZ. How I’ve missed you so. Your breezy mountain air, smell of pine, and even your ridiculously random thunderstorms that hit everywhere in the city except the Coconino County Fairgrounds. It was much appreciated even though we decided, for our own safety, not to go on any rides for fear of being electrocuted. But even so, it was a fantastic day with great friends(minus a few) and fresh air.

(While you’re here… Check out Robin’s blog!)

(In case you were wondering, we figured out why they call it STUFFIES.You’re basically stuffing your arteries with grease…)

Me and my old roomies. I love them!

Newly weds

That girl really wanted me to take a picture with her sheep…

It was our mission to get a picture together since at every outing we seem to be so focused on getting everyone else’s picture that we forget eachother!

In the end we decided to celebrate a successful fair day with a cup of Macy’s hot cocoa. For any natives to Flagstaff, you know this is the best joint for coffee in the city. And is now officially my favorite spot for hot cocoa.

What a great way to spend Labor Day weekend. A nice treat to be away from the city heat. And it also helped me realize how much I miss the feel of the trees around me. Something very lacking down here in the valley. Anyone know of a great place to live in Colorado? I’ve had my eye on that beautiful state for a while now, and I think it’s time for some change.
How did you spend your 3 day weekend?
PS. Is it fall yet?!
