So it’s been a while since I’ve had the time and energy to do a fun craft, but with the excitement of moving into a new home next month I couldn’t help myself! Something I’ve been itching to do for quite some time now are Scrabble Magnets!! Easiest craft I’ve ever done and super cheap! Cost me a total of $13 and took about 10 minutes to make… Who doesn’t like easy and cheap?! Not to mention it makes a great little gift for a friend. And the best part is – there’s no gluing involved!!
[SUPPLIES ]
100 Scrabble Tiles (Amazon) – $9.99
1 Roll of Craft Magnet (Hobby Lobby) – $2.99 (Don’t forget your coupon!!)
A pair of scissors
Before we begin… be warned that when you order these scrabble letters you might not get all of the letters. People talk about this in the reviews and I was a little nervous myself to see what letters actually do come. I mean, 100 tiles SHOULD have every letter in the alphabet, right? Well, fortunately mine had at least one of every letter (even 2 blank pieces), and plenty of multiples of the rest. But if you find that there is a letter or two missing from your count, don’t sweat it. Thinking positively, it adds a bit of challenge to your game!

Cut the magnet strip into small square pieces. I only ended up using half of this roll for all 100 pieces so you’ll have plenty of magnet left to make these for a friend!

Peel back the adhesive strip and stick it to the scrabble letter. Press firmly!

And that’s all there is to it! Now you’re ready for some sweet scrabble wars, or maybe just a friendly “hello”. :)

I can’t wait to use these little conversations in our home next month! Can August be here already? So close, yet so far…
Until next time!

Hi, Brooke! I just did these too. Don’t you just love them!?! I love a quick and easy craft! Super cute! Kristin
